Comments: I had a small tree to have removed and some small amount of trimming was needed. They came out quickly to review the project and got the work done that same week. The crew came out and did a good job performing the tasks and cleaning up. All cut down material was removed and was included in the bid. All in all, I was very happy with the work that was performed. Will use in the future for tree care.

Project Tree Removal/trimming/Landscaping 

Comments: We recently had the pleasure of hiring The Lone Star Tree Czar, owned by Larry Moak, for an extensive tree removal, canopy trimming, and cleanup project on our 1-acre property. I must say, they did an outstanding job.

Larry Moak himself is not only a very honest and pleasant individual but also exceptionally thorough and knowledgeable in his field. His crew, led by foreman Jonathan, exhibited great skill and professionalism throughout the job. They efficiently removed several large, dead trees and cleared extensive overgrowth around three of our trees. Additionally, they expertly trimmed the canopies of our large and medium live oaks. Larry's hands-on approach was evident as he supervised and directed the entire operation on-site. He was proactive in ensuring our satisfaction with the end result, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. It's clear that Larry takes pride in his company's work, and he certainly delivered on his promises. In terms of pricing, Larry offers very fair and reasonable rates. Considering the quality and quantity of work completed by his team, we feel we received excellent value for our investment. Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend The Lone Star Tree Czar for any tree-related needs, regardless of size. With Larry's expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction, you can trust that your project will be handled with professionalism and care.

''I was very pleased with the service provided by Larry Moak, the owner and his crew of 'The Lone Star Tree Czar' earlier this week. They were very professional and courteous and did a great job in removing a magnolia tree, and trimming some unwanted and dead limbs out of three of our other trees. They were careful to use ropes to lower the cut limbs to the ground to avoid damage to any other vegetation. They cleaned up the yard so that there was no sign of any debris after the job was done. And I was also pleased with the price, which Larry was happy to reduce by providing a veteran's discount. He is a very likeable and interesting person to deal with, and I highly recommend this service to anyone who needs any tree trimming or removal service in the Houston-Woodlands area.''

Their Review We highly recommend Lone Star Tree Czar. Larry Moak was very patient with me and surveyed our small piece of property several times before I finally decided on what I wanted done. He worked with my budget and gave us the most for our money. They removed a really tall pine tree that was right over our home which was exciting to watch, Jonathan, Carlos, Lucas and two more employees were very polite and professional. They were also polite to our neighbors that had to drive by the equipment in our cul-de-sac. They removed all limbs and debris leaving only leaves to rake. I am a returning customer and look forward to using them again. Thank you for your service.

Comments: Knowing I'd live with my decision for many years, I met with 5 different companies about installing my privacy (wood) fence. Larry Moak, with The Lone Star Tree Czar, was very personable & professional at the same time. He did not try to pressure me, or rush my decision, in any way. He encouraged me to meet with others & check reviews. I definitely made the right choice. Before building me beautiful & sturdy 7 foot privacy wood fence, they removed trees that had woven their way in & out of a neighboring chain link fence without removing the fence. ***Also, my home/property had a couple of structural issues that interfered with my getting what I wanted. But, with Larry's knowledge & on his advice, his crew rose to the challenge & built the gate & fence that I requested. Actually, better. Larry was frequently on-site, & any time I had questions, he'd return quickly to speak with me in person. I highly recommend Larry Moak with The Lone Star Tree Czar for your privacy fence as well as tree removal needs.
